There is a lot of buzz about WHAT IS FACEBOOK and WHY is it popular. It has become so popular in the past few years that most people now have a user account on one or more social networking sites, such as SUCCESS, CYNERGY or DY MEMO. There are also a growing number of businesses and organizations that are starting to use these sites for various purposes, such as promoting events, launching a new product or service or simply communicating with their clients. In this article I will briefly discuss what a user’s “profile” on a site like Facebook actually is and briefly look at some of the advantages that they offer over other social media and content aggregation sites.
